The Sensory Safe Solution is a Non-profit organization committed to making impactful industry changes to better serve the autism community, those with sensory differences, and related disabilities by educating and certifying industry professionals through our elevated curriculum platform. The knowledge and experience used in creating our curriculum is research-based principles designed by educators, behavior specialists, and stylists trialing this practice for over 5 years. We will deliver an experience rich session to industry professionals, with heart, inspired by our mission to provide safe services to ALL guests.
Our mission is to create a Sensory Safe environment for anyone and everyone, especially guests with special needs and sensory processing sensitivities. We strive to provide individuals with dignity while also producing an experience that leads to a life-long benefit of inclusion. Through our educational platform, we are providing communities with sensory safe spaces, training well-prepared industry professionals, and constantly improving the experience to be more inclusive and diverse.
If you didn’t know, receiving haircuts or industry services can be a HARD process, typically resulting in a traumatic experience for both parties. The challenges can range from anxiety, to sensory sensitivities, or worse, trauma from past experiences. The Sensory Safe Solution is here to change that, and with your help, change the industry!
With this 2 hour certification you will receive tools and systems to ensure creation of a safe space. You will receive; templates for success, a certificate, web badge, decal, website recognition, board support, and more! Our goal is to empower industry professionals by providing them knowledge and skills designed specifically for supporting any guest, no matter their differences.
