We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team at Still Magnolias Salon . The Salon Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of salon operations, including staff management, customer service, and business development. Responsibilities:
1. **Staff Management:**
– Recruit, hire, and train salon staff, including hair stylists, receptionists, and assistants.
– Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
– Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and performance.
– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
– Address staff issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
2. **Customer Service:**
– Ensure that all clients receive exceptional service and have a positive salon experience.
– Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
– Monitor client satisfaction levels and implement strategies to improve service quality.
3. **Salon Operations:**
– Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including opening and closing procedures.
– Manage salon inventory, including hair care products, tools, and equipment.
– Ensure that the salon is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
– Monitor and analyze salon performance metrics, such as revenue, expenses, and customer retention rates.
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize salon performance and profitability.
4. **Business Development:**
– Develop marketing initiatives and promotions to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
– Collaborate with the salon owner or management team to set sales targets and develop sales strategies.
– Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, such as new service offerings or partnerships.
– Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in salon management or a similar role, preferably in the beauty industry.
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire salon staff.
3. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building client relationships and satisfaction.
4. Solid understanding of salon operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and sales tracking.
